Steak and Balsamic Vegetables

Steak and Balsamic VeggiesWhole 30
Yield: 2-4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 -1 pound porterhouse, t-bone, rib-eye, sirloin, top loin, eye round steaks about 1 " thick
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 6 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 fresh garlic bulb, skin left on, cloves separated
  • 2-4 tablespoons oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • fresh chives, parsley, horseradish

Directions:

  1. Toss onion, mushrooms, carrot, and garlic cloves with oil.
  2. Arrange steak and vegetables on the baking sheet and season.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar.
  4.  Broil 10 – 12 minutes for medium rare steak.
  5. Cover the whole pan with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the pulp from the garlic cloves and spread over the steak and veggies.
  7. Top with fresh chives.
