Steak and Balsamic Vegetables

Yield: 2-4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 -1 pound porterhouse, t-bone, rib-eye, sirloin, top loin, eye round steaks about 1 " thick
- 1 onion, sliced
- 6 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 fresh garlic bulb, skin left on, cloves separated
- 2-4 tablespoons oil
- balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- fresh chives, parsley, horseradish
Directions:
- Toss onion, mushrooms, carrot, and garlic cloves with oil.
- Arrange steak and vegetables on the baking sheet and season.
- Drizzle the balsamic vinegar.
- Broil 10 – 12 minutes for medium rare steak.
- Cover the whole pan with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pulp from the garlic cloves and spread over the steak and veggies.
- Top with fresh chives.
